Experiential projects present a whole new set of creative challenges.
With a sleek black piano, Alicia Keys stopped traffic at Times Square with a surprise concert for approximately 10,000 fans.
Twelve of the Times Square billboard video displays played uniquely designed content each portraying a story related to each specific song. My role as creative lead was to design and choreograph the visual content, synchronised across the dozen video billboards during her live performance, directing a team of editors and animators through a complex creative and technical minefield.
Alicia was joined on stage by legends Jay-Z, Nas, John Mayer, Q-Tip and ?uestlove.
The show was broadcast in its entirety on BET.
